We are very happy that Aakanksha Madhwal has joined the lab as a new PhD student. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Graphic Era Deemed To Be University, Dehradun, and a Master’s Degree in Biotechnology from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Microorganisms have always piqued her interest, and she is curious about how these seemingly simple creatures exhibit such intricate behavior and how they manage to adapt so well to their surroundings. For her PhD, Aakanksha is excited to learn how to ask the right questions and then probe and observe natural phenomena to find some answers. Apart from science, she loves to sing (and does it very well!), listen to Hindustani classical music, and read. Welcome to the gang!
