NCBS had an Open day in September this year, where the campus opened to visitors, and several labs put up posters, demos, games and other activities for children and members of the public. The lab put up a stall showcasing activities based on our work, and it was a hit! Featured: a beautiful Mandala highlighting examples of evolution, by former student Pranjal Gupta; a board game conveying the role of bias and chance; a poster explaining how mutations happen; and an array of give-away postcards highlighting recent work from the lab. Several lab members planned, crafted, and interacted with visitors at the booth, and it was a lot of fun.
